School Consultation:

Several LC staff work under contract with area schools as learning consultants providing special education services to their students. LC staff are also available for school observations and consultation to help resolve a particular issue in any school, when requested by parents.

Individual/Family Counseling:
Although the majority of our children and adolescents participate in our social motivational groups, there are times when there are issues too significant to be addressed in such a setting. For these instances, we offer individual and family counseling. Many of these individuals will continue in one of the social motivational groups after release from individual counseling to build skills and self esteem.

Parent/Teacher Training:
Our staff are available to give presentations and training sessions on various parenting and classroom issues for both parents and teachers. We also offer presentations at our office for parents several times throughout the year. To schedule a presentation at your school or group meeting, please contact us for more information.

Tutoring:
Certified teachers provide one on one tutoring and study skills for children who need extra help outside the classroom.

Homework Club:
This service is available to students in private and parochial schools. Our consultants work on site and provide assistance to students in completing their homework. Not only do the students receive help from certified learning specialists, but they have the advantage of completing their homework before leaving school allowing more time for after school activities. We have found the Homework Club to be especially helpful for students who struggle to complete their homework or could use extra help in one or more areas. If you would like to start a Homework Club at your school, please contact us for more information.
