Joan has been with the company since it was established in 2000. She has
expertise in evaluating children and adolescents for learning disabilities
and behavior disorders. Joan also has significant experience working with
children with ADHD and Autism Specturm Disorders. Currently, Joan consults
part time in a private school, completes evaluations, tutors and counsels
children individually and leads social skills groups.
Rick Bates,

Rick has been with the company since it was established in 2000. He currently
consults at a parochial school as a learning specialist, serving students
in grades K-8 with learning differences. Rick also has significant experience
working with students with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Rick also
provides individual tutoring and leads social skills groups.
Alicia Myers,
MA, LPC
Bachelor of Arts and Science in Psychology
Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling
Licensed Professional Counselor
Alicia has worked with Learning Consultants since 2003 leading social
motivational groups as well as providing individual counseling to children
and families. Alicia has significant experience working with children
who have been in foster care. She is currently employed part time with
Francis Howell School District working with children with behavior disorders.

Sue has worked with Learning Consultants as a learning specialist since
2004. Her extensive teaching background in both public and private schools
enables her to provide
individualized programs for primary students with learning differences.
Sue is a valued team member in the parochial school where she is currently
consulting.
Elizabeth
Bantz, MA

Master in Professional Counseling
Liz has worked with Learning Consultants as a learning specialist since
2004. Her background in both education and counseling have made her a
valuable asset to the children and teachers with whom she works. Liz currently
consults in a local parochial school with middle school students who have
learning differences.
Leah Pattterson,
MA
Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education
Masters of Arts, Professional Counseling
Leah completed an internship for Learning Consultants in the summer of
2007. She returned in the fall of 2009 as a leader for our social motivational
groups. Leah has experience as a third grade teacher and a reading teacher.
She is currently working as an assistant director for Kindercare Learning
Centers.
Justin Flippin,
MA, PLPC

Master of Arts in Counseling
Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor
Justin joined the team at Learning Consultants in the Fall of 2009 as
a leader for our social motivational groups. Justin also works for Crider
Mental Health Center as a Co-Occurring Disorders Specialist and has experience
in group and individual Counseling with both children and adults.
